I'm not talking about their attitudes at all (though - I know why they call the baby goats "kids" - they are no different than humans!).... but with their milk production.
Seriously - last week..... happy goats.... decent weather.... milk production 'A-OK' giving us about 1 1/2 gallons per day with the 2 goats.
Yesterday and today - just over a gallon. It's rainy - icky..... and they just don't feel like producing!
I'm not arguing with them on this fact - personally I'm all for "taking rainy days off".... I just found the decision making on their part funny. But I would appreciate that since I still have to go out and milk them when it's rainy and icky - that they would still be nice enough for a full bucket!
